      <description> &lt;br/&gt;Mrs. Pauline Antoinette Tamplin, age 65, of Charlotte NC died Sunday July 25, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center.  Born September 1, 1944 in Blaenavon, Gwent, Wales U.K. she was the daughter of the late Owain Wynne Jones and Gwyneth May Clothier Jones. &lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday July 30th in the Chapel of Raymer Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and afterwards at Midtown Sundries on Lake Norman.&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Edward Arthur Tamplin; sons, Martin Howard Tamplin and wife Jennifer Gayla of Charlotte, Christopher Edwin Tamplin and wife Wendy Lorraine of Asheboro; brother Russell Phillip Jones; sister Carole Angela Jaycock and grandson, Nathan Edward Tamplin.&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210 or Hospice of Lake Norman,705 Griffith Street Suite 203, Davidson, NC 28036.&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;Arrangements by Raymer Funeral Home Huntersville, NC.</description>

He was born on August 21, 1913 in Springfield, MA to the late John and Katherine Riley.&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;Survivors include his daughter Carol Roper and her husband Uwe of Cornelius; grandchildren Michael and Stephen Adamczyk and 6 great-grandchildren.       <description>Mr. James Marshall Conley, 94, of Cornelius, NC died Friday July 23, 2010 at the Laurels.  Born August 19, 1915 in Jingo, West Virginia he was a son of the late James William Conley and Ethel Hughes Conley.  He was a World War II US Coast Guard veteran, a member of the Parkersburg, WVA Masonic Order and the American Legion.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Masonic Graveside Services will be conducted 10:00 am Monday July 26 at the Mt. Olivet Masonic Cemetery in Parkersburg, WVA.  A Masonic service with Scottish Rights will be conducted Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Kimes  Funeral Home in Parkersburg WVA.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Mr. Conley is survived by his sons, Dennis S. Conley and wife Kaye of Cornelius NC and Dana N. Conley and wife Tyna of Russell KY; brother,  Gordon of St Albans WVA;  three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wylene Nay Conley; brothers, Ralph, Charlie, Paul, John and Howard; sisters, Iva Smith, Orla Barnes, Ruth Critchfield, Wilma Salaz, Myrtle Suter.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Local arrangements by Raymer Funeral Home Huntersville, NC.</description>

      <description>&lt;br/&gt;Mrs. Effie Mae Taylor Ashford, age 93, of Charlotte, NC died July 19, 2010 at &lt;br/&gt;her residence.  Born July 28, 1916 in Denton NC she was the daughter of the late &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Rev. Charles L. and Nancy Dick Taylor.  She was a graduate of Ellenboro High &lt;br/&gt;School, worked at the Charlotte Observer, and later became a homemaker and mother of two sons. She was a loyal member of Thrift Baptist Church where she served in the baby nursery for 40 years.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend that influenced many with her gentle Godly spirit.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; A private graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday July 22 at Forest Lawn Cemetery West followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Thrift Baptist &lt;br/&gt;Church. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The family will receive friends following the service at the church.&lt;br/&gt;Mrs. Ashford is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas “Duke” Earl Ashford; &lt;br/&gt;sons, Darrell Ashford and wife Debbie and Craig Ashford; brother, Alvin B. &lt;br/&gt;Taylor of Durham; grandchildren, Tiffany Ashford, Heather Ashford Auten and husband Chaise and Lindsay Ashford Berry and husband Uriah.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, James, &lt;br/&gt;Ervin, Jonah and Hoyle Taylor. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 East Seventh St, Charlotte, NC 28204.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Arrangements by Raymer Funeral Home Huntersville, NC</description>
